Revere Copper and Brass
Patrick Mulvey-Welch gave the Board a project overview for the Revere Copper and Brass property located at the intersection of Water Street and Lothrop Street. The project would consist of 30 townhouse condominiums.~ He noted that the plan keeps the townhouses close to Water Street by maintaining a 15 to 20 foot front yard setback. Each unit would contain two bedrooms and a small second floor study.~ The units would also have porches.
Mr. Tripp asked if wood shingles are proposed.
Mr. Mulvey-Welch replied that the units would be clad with either wood shingles or wood clapboard.
Mr. Tripp questioned whether the Fire Department had reviewed the plan.
Mr. Mulvey-Welch said that they would be meeting with the Fire Chief next week.
Mr. MacGregor asked about the density of the project.
Mr. Mulvey-Welch indicated that is was between 15 and 20 units per acre.
Mr. MacGregor stated that he felt the density was too great.
Mr. Hartmann noted that the development would have to include 3 affordable units.
Mr. Filla noted that he liked the use of traditional alley ways in the design.
The Board appreciated the presentation.

The meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
